JOB SUMMARY / DESCRIPTION:

Summary

Reporting to the Manager – Talent Development, the Learning Coordinator is responsible managing the Learning Management System (LMS) and assist in designing training to further employee development. The Learning Coordinator will work collaboratively with other Human Resource team members and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on training and development efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the design of various employee training courses including, but not limited to, web based and classroom trainings on topics varying from Human Resources topics, application software, and desired job-specific trainings.
  • Assists in the design of various employee training content by using Adult Learning Theory and instructional design theories.
  • Manages the LMS including, but not limited to, managing the administration and roll out of compliance training, reviewing and marking uploaded employee documents, and running reports.
  • Coordinates and performs administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs.
  • Provides audit support through documentation of audit findings; loads required trainings and reports on training progress for Compliance on-demand.
  • Assists in the maintenance of client specific learning management rosters including, but not limited to, adding employees, removing employees, and requesting password resets.
  • Assists in ensuring that all Rausch Sturm and client training has been completed by the assigned due dates.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:  

1-3 years experience in instruction design, LMS management, and/or related experience required. Instructional Design certification is preferred. Experience working in a high demand, fast-paced environment is required with the ability to manage shifting priorities and deadlines. Excellent communication and public speaking skills are required. Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
